Can the form based code include incentives for low carbon building systems in addition to requiring compliance with Title‐24 energy code ? We were highly interested in and impressed by this company and wall system for our project on Western Ave, but turn
around time was too lengthy. BamCore incorporates carbon sequestration, sustainability, energy efficiency, social responsibility, and reduced waste in construction ‐ so many positives.
Is there a category under development in the Gateway form based code system that would incentivize use of building
systems that can demonstrate benefits like this one?
